Holiday Tea
What better way to celebrate the holidays than having a holiday tea. I took Emma to her first tea at LoveJoy Tea Room in San Francisco. It's not as fancy as the Ritz but we did get to dress up in Princess Sophia fancy dresses and had tea with 3 other girls. We didn't break anything and the scones/tea sandwiches were delish. Perhaps this is a start of a new tradition?

Disney Junior Show
We took Emma to her first Disney Junior show starring Princess Sophia and Jake the Pirate. She loved every minute of it including getting her first Princess Sophia cup and light wand. Emma also loved that there were special appearances from Cindarella (bi ba boom), Peter Pan (he can fly!) and Mickey/Minnie. We watched the show at the historic Paramount theater in Oakland which is a beautiful theater with lots of mirrors. Emma especially liked the intermission where she was able to dance and sing in front of all the wall mirrors. Next time I'm sure she will ask to be in a princess outfit!

Potty Training Milestone
We've been working on Emma potty training since she turned 2 years old. Today she hit another milestone!!
She's been able to go without diapers during the day including naps but the last 3 days she refused to wear diapers for sleeping as well. We didn't think she was ready and she did have accidents. But her stubborn self refused to wear diapers last night and we thought uh-oh, more accidents. Knowing she went to poop and pee before she slept made us feel better but she is quite young still to be going without diaper overnight. Boy, were we wrong. Not only did she stay DRY the entire night, she managed to hold it to go pee in the morning after some breakfast. My truly amazing daughter!!!
